At Mind Management we offer flexible training in job-related and specialist language training, often called 'languages for business'.

Whatever your profession (business, engineering, accountancy, law, medicine, sport, media, marketing, sales, staff training, etc.), we start you on day 1 with material relevant to your world and your immediate personal needs. With today’s technology, it’s possible to download any material or recordings you need. We will help you absorb any language you wish to learn, and will focus on delivering content that explored issues important to you. You can find out what’s going on in the country that interests you from their daily newspapers or television, their industry reports, and websites of your competitors.

We can offer one-to-one private tuition or workshops for groups of up to 200. Our unique style of teaching was developed to enable us to teach groups of mixed levels in the same room. All participants work with the same materials, but as you focus in turn on learning to hear, to get the words out with conviction, to notice or to guess, each individual uses 'deliberate practice' to move forward from their starting position.

FOCUS Mixed-Level Corporate Workshops include:

• FOCUS Flying Start Workshops (1, 2 or 5 days): designed to launch you on your language learning programme. Plan your project, set goals, experiment with the FOCUS activities so you can confidently practise on your own.
• FOCUS Reciprocal Workshops: enable professionals from two countries to work together to improve each other's language skills. Teams of 4 (2 from each country) prepare and rehearse each other to give mini bi-lingual presentations on work-related projects to the whole group. Everyone, including the absolute beginner, acts as a resource for the others.
• FOCUS Cultural Workshops: A life in a day: from cradle to grave: Teams from two countries work together to discover what they didn't know they didn't know about each other's life assumptions (customs, institutions, history, geography, education, heroes, etc).

You will want to plan ahead for situations when you will need your new language, your next trip, telephone call or meeting. We help you gather the background information and terminology you will need. We help you imagine the scenario, plan your script in your own language and in the new language, and then rehearse how the conversations might progress. We help you use every situation, every work or social interaction to make new friends and allies. We help you cope before you are competent. Think ahead, think APPLE:

We invite you to use your time with us for troubleshooting sessions, to help you discover what activities help you learn best and keep you absorbed. Is it 'reading aloud' to help you develop fluency and performance style? Is it singing or collecting tongue twisters? Is it 'thinking aloud' to discover what it is you don’t know yet? Is it 'auto-dictation' to discover what you hadn’t noticed about how the language works?
